We are pleased to offer a variety of scholarships to help families and adult participants* meet the financial obligations of our programs. From our general Passport Fund to language-specific scholarships funded by our partners and awards from the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, we provide thousands of dollars every year to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience Concordia Language Villages.

Scholarships are available for Concordia Language Villages’ summer youth programs through our Passport Fund. The Passport Fund allows villagers to apply for funding from multiple sources with one application. Simply submit the application after completing your registration and we will make the best award possible from our different scholarship funds.

Scholarship Information GuideThanks to a generous fund established by North Shore resident and Concordia College alum Gary Zinter and his wife, Betty, scholarships of up to $1,000 are available for villagers residing in Cook and Lake counties. These scholarships are location-based with no financial restrictions and can be combined with other scholarships to coverup to 90 percent of tuition. Qualified families will be considered for these scholarships by completing our Passport Fund application. Our Passport Fund makes applying for scholarships easy—one application connects villagers to multiple funding sources. Complete your registration, submit your application, and let us help make your language learning journey a reality. North Shore Restricted Scholarships are available for Summer 2025 are open as of April 1, 2025 and will be awarded based on eligibility until the annual fund is exhausted. Qualified Minnesota residents in grades 3 through 11 can also apply for Summer Academic Enrichment Program funds through Minnesota's Office of Higher Education (See our Scholarship Information Guide for more information).
