Turtle River Lake

Sup sogŭi Hosu is the newest custom-built, culturally authentic Language Village, fully opening in 2024. Built by a team of architects from Korea and Minnesota, the buildings are based on the traditional Korean house, known as a hanok–a unique form of construction said to be “a house that breathes” so that those who dwell there become a part of nature.

The first phase of construction completed includes a dining hall and commercial kitchen, administrative complex, two villager cabins, soccer field and waterfront development. A cultural center, activities hall (including a martial arts studio and music room), traditional Korean archery range and more are planned in the coming years. If you would like to contribute to our phase two construction fund, please click the button below.
